Two-Day Training

A two-day training allows time to learn additional nature activities, and to better assimilate the principles and nuances of Flow Learning™. 
 
Day One:  Flow Learning in Action

Morning Session   9am - 12noon
Experiential Lecture: Introduction to Sharing Nature Methodology
  • Flow Learning™: Sharing Nature’s outdoor teaching strategy that gently, almost magically, guides others to uplifting nature experiences
  • How to make learning fun, experiential, and memorable
  • Teaching skills that touch the heart as well as the mind
  • How to make your programs more effective and life changing
  • Effective strategies that engage students and minimize discipline problems
 
Nature Activity Class: Awaken Enthusiasm and Focus Attention Activities
Learn activities that:
  • Demonstrate ecological concepts 
  • Make learning fun
  • Build group spirit
  • Make science a joyful experience
  • Teach animal characteristics and habits
  • Encourage observation and attentiveness
 
Lunch 12pm-1pm
 
Afternoon Session 1pm - 4pm
Nature Activity Class: Offer Direct Experience and Share Inspiration Activities
  • Exercises that encourage deeper learning and intuitive understanding
  • Journey to the Heart of Nature stewardship activities
  • Storytelling as a shared brain experience

Day Two – Going Deeper into Sharing Nature Principles and Practices
 
Morning Session 9am – 12noon

  • Create a dynamic learning experience
  • Help others be more positive, authentic, and creative
  • Enrich memory retention

  • Experience nature play activities
 
Nature Activity Class: Forest Therapy Activities
  • Experiential activities that teach about trees scientifically and intuitively, through kinesthetic awareness, immersion, deep listening, guided imagery, music, and creative writing
  • Experiencing the forest in richer, more nuanced ways
 
Lunch 12pm-1pm
 
Afternoon Session 1pm – 4pm
Nature Activity Class: Sharing Nature Wellness Experience
  • Exercises that bring us face-to-face with nature
  • The Sky and Earth Touched Me experiences for personal renewal
  • Exercises for feeling fully alive and free of stress
  • Activities that promote group introspection and sharing
  • Using music and poetry to foster stewardship and to celebrate the Earth
