Learn highly effective ways to connect your students to nature with one of the planet’s most widely respected and beloved nature education programs, used by millions of people since 1979.
During our time together, you’ll learn innovative methods for sharing with others; immerse yourself in nature’s healing influences; and“actually experience what it’s like to be a part of the natural world.” At the conclusion of this training, you will have the tools and inspiration needed to make outdoor learning fun, dynamic, experiential, and deeply meaningful.
We look forward to meeting you on Oct 27th and sharing a wonderful day in nature with Naturalist Joseph Cornell. Before submitting your payment through the PayPal link below, please read through the following terms and guidelines. If you have any questions, please contact our event coordinator, Saiganesh.
The cost for attending the workshop is $90 per person. The Workshop is open for participants 12+ years in age. Sorry, no pets. The day will be spent entirely outdoors and will involve gentle hikes. Please dress accordingly and bring layers as the redwoods can get quite chilly in fall. Please bring water, a bag lunch and some snacks for yourself. Since the space for the event is limited, If for any reason you wish to cancel your reservation, please let us know before Oct 1st, and we will process a refund of $70. Unfortunately, we cannot process any refunds after that date. A week before the event we will send detailed directions to the location inside Huddart park and for parking. Please plan on arriving by 9.15am to allow enough time to walk to the workshop site from the parking lot. Although there is sufficient parking available, we highly recommend car pooling to make parking easy and reduce traffic inside the park.
